The farmhouse
Colle Casini Cortesi was born in 2009 from an important past.
Giancarlo Dignani, together with his wife Aurelia and his sons Roberto, Matteo and Ludovica, decides to recover a village that belonged to the noble Casini Cortesi family and has been abandoned for more than fifty years, thus creating a unique and exclusive place to relax surrounded by nature, but with all the most modern comforts.
The main building, where the guest rooms are now and which we have renovated keeping the original structure, was composed of a small church, some stables , a farm house and an external oven.
To this structure we have added a more modern one, dedicated to tasting our products.
Outside there is a large garden with swimming pool, hot tub, gazebo with sofas, barbecue, sunbeds, deck chairs and umbrellas.
From the stories of the inhabitants of the area we discovered something more about this small, very active community that lived working the fields. In particular, this place was famous for the presence of an apple orchard, a vineyard and an olive grove.
In the farmhouse we use geothermal energy, managed via home automation, for heating and air conditioning, and the water from our sources.
Our main goal is to bring interest and curiosity back to this place through a sustainable economy, respecting the territory.
Our products
The farm, totally certified organic, produces, as a natural expression of the territory, olive oil of the local Coroncina and Piantone di Mogliano varieties, from a hundred centuries-old olive trees and a thousand plants planted in 2011.
Year after year the business has expanded: in 2017 we planted 2 hectares of vineyards, of the Verdicchio and Pecorino varieties, and in 2020 we added another hectare of Pinot, Vernaccia and Grenache varieties. The cultivation of various cereals such as common wheat, chickpea, lentil, cicerchia and spelled, to be used on the farm, is evaluated from year to year. Alongside the processing of the fields there is an important activity that takes place in the garden, to have seasonal products fresh to use.
There are still many projects in the pipeline to be carried out, to support our idea of sustainable agriculture that reconciles the past and the future.

Our facility can accommodate up to 100 people outside, and up to 30-35 people inside.
